39 Weeks Pregnant Today!

I must be too good to our babies in utero, because they seem to like to hang out till they get an eviction notice! With Dylan I was induced about 5 days after my due date because he was not coming on his own and growing rapidly in my belly (almost 9 lbs when he was born!) I was really nervous about being induced beforehand, but actually really liked it that way because I felt more in control of the situation.

It looks as though I will be induced again this time. Luckily, my OB/GYN will do an induction with your second baby the week before your due date. As much as I enjoy being pregnant, this pregnancy has been MUCH harder than Dylan's and I am eager to hold baby girl in my arms and not my belly anymore. SO....we are scheduled to be induced Tuesday, May 17th. It's not a guarantee because it's not for medical reasons, so if Labor and Delivery is full, I'll be bumped. Latest I will deliver will be Sat. the 21st. Let's hope it doesn't come to that!
